Australia's Biggest High Tea at the Zoo

You’re invited to join us for an afternoon of High Tea at Taronga Western Plains Zoo,
on Saturday 13th May from 2:30pm in celebration of Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea. 

Join us in this unique location while being able to indulge in a fine selection of delectable high tea treats complimented by a glass of sparkling wine and a delightful selection of tea. 

Gather your friends and family together, share delicious food and tea, and give support to those affected by cancer. 

All proceeds raised at the event will help support Cancer Council’s life-saving cancer research, prevention, advocacy and support programs (like Cancer Council 13 11 20) for people facing cancer in our community.

Dubbo and Orana Region Orchid Society Autumn Show will be on

Dubbo Farmers Markets | 1st & 3rd Saturday of the Month

On the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month - rain, hail or shine locals and visitors alike get together to enjoy and appreciate the feast of fresher, tastier produce from your local producers. 


Held from 8 am to 12 noon on the lawn of the home of the Dubbo Farmers Market, The Macquarie Lions Park, situated behind the Visitor Information Centre on the corner of Newell Highway and Macquarie Street, Dubbo. 

The markets offer a range of seasonal fresh produce, fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and plants. 

There is also fresh bread, a selection of local pork, beef and lamb, award winning olive oils, preserves, jams, marinates honey, wine, nuts and so much more. 

Enjoy our fresh breakfast and coffee options with family and friends before you start exploring the regional produce, sampling and taking home all the goodies you will need to prepare your own gourmet dishes at home.



Dubbo Stroke Support Group

The next monthly get-together of the Dubbo Stroke Support Group will be held on Wednesday 10th May, 2017. At Western Plains Cultural Centre, Wingewarra Street, Dubbo.

From 10am to 12noon.

People affected by stroke, their family, cares and friends are welcome.

Visitors and new members are always welcome.

Dubbo Wagon Wheel Club Luncheon

Come down to the Masonic Hall on Church Street, Dubbo on Sunday 30th April

Free Pre Natal Yoga Class

Yoga by Jac is holding a free pre natal yoga class every Thursday night for expectant mums. 

Classes are held at Dubbo Early Learning Centre in Blueridge Estate from 6.30-7.30pm.

Molong Village Markets

It's time again for the Molong Village Markets on Sunday 30th April.

Starting at 8:30am for breakfast on the Village Green ready for the start of the Markets until 2pm.

There will be a wide variety of stalls along with food, wine, a wood raffle and all the regular attractions including the Giant Slide, Jumping Castle and Face Painting.

NDIS Information Session

This information session is designed to help people with disability, their families and carers and the wider community get ready for the National Disability Insurance Scheme that will commence in our area on 1 July 2017. 


The session will cover topics such as:
•What is the NDIS and how does it work?
•Am I eligible for the NDIS?
•What will happen if I am made eligible?
•What kind of support can I access through the NDIS? 

It will be held at the Dubbo RSL Club on 11/5/17 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

The Annual Charity Golf Day is on again on Sunday 7th of May 2017
at the Narromine Golf Club.

The event is a Two Person Ambrose, Tee opens at 11:00am.
Cost is $20.00 per head including lunch and afternoon tea. 

There are prizes galore, so we hope everyone can come along
and have a fun day and support this worthwhile local charity.
