Carols in the Caves | Wellington

Come along to a family friendly event at the Wellington Caves
on Sunday the 17th December from 6:30pm for Carols in the Cave. 

The Carols will start at 7:00pm but it is advised to be at the caves
by 6:40pm to allow for time to walk down the cave. 

Entry into the cave is FREE courtesy of Wellington Council.
Please bring a chair or rug - No food allowed down the cave!

Carol singing and reading items by Stray Notes and Dubbo Sing Australia. 

Christmas Lunchtime Concerts

Daily Christmas Lunchtime Concerts will be held at the Dubbo Uniting Church from
18th to 22nd December starting at 
1:00pm to 1:30pm. 

Artists for the week include a string quartet, pipe organ recital, violin and piano recital, tuba and trumpet, flute and vocals. 

Bring your lunch, relax, soak up the atmosphere of our lovely little church. 

Rekindle the Christmas spirit - ready for what the season brings. 

All are welcome to this free concert event.

Community Carols By Candlelight

The Rotary Club of Dubbo West Inc proudly presents the Community Carols by Candlelight

at Victoria park number one Oval on Sunday 17th December 2017.

Carols from 7:30pm, with entertainment from 6:30pm.

Local Artist, choirs and bands will entertain and will also lead the community singing.

Father Christmas will arrive at approx 8:30pm,

BBQ, hotdogs, chips, drinks, icecreams, tea & coffee, safeflame candles & glow sticks
on sale from 6:00pm.

Gates open at 6:00pm.

No alcohol, glass bottles or drink eskies permitted on the grounds.
(Food eskies excepted)

Dubbo AFL Training

Dubbo AFL is back for training from Thursday 16th  November to the 19th of December
and its free to join until the end of the year to get a taste of Australia's own game.

It's for both Men's and Women's teams playing in AFL Central West as the Dubbo Demons.

If you're new to town or always wanted to play AFL Dubbo AFL train
7pm Tuesday and Thursday for Mens and 7pm Thursdays for Womens.

Location of training is South Dubbo Oval, Boundary Road.

Dubbo Farmers Markets | 1st & 3rd Saturday of the Month

On the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month - rain, hail or shine locals and visitors alike get together to enjoy and appreciate the feast of fresher, tastier produce from your local producers. 

Held from 8 am to 12 noon on the lawn of the home of the Dubbo Farmers Market, The Macquarie Lions Park, situated behind the Visitor Information Centre on the corner of Newell Highway and Macquarie Street, Dubbo. 

The markets offer a range of seasonal fresh produce, fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and plants. 

There is also fresh bread, a selection of local pork, beef and lamb, award winning olive oils, preserves, jams, marinates honey, wine, nuts and so much more. 

Enjoy our fresh breakfast and coffee options with family and friends before you start exploring the regional produce, sampling and taking home all the goodies you will need to prepare your own gourmet dishes at home.

Dubbo Parkinson's Support Group

Meets at the David Palmer Centre, Old Lourdes Hospital. 

On the first Friday of each month at 10:30am.

People with Parkinson's and their carers are welcome.

Dubbo Triathlon Club - Tri Stars Junior Event

Swim, cycle and run at the Dubbo Aquatic Centre and Victoria Park! 

This event focuses on fun, participation and personal achievement.
Events are held on sealed roads under marshall conditions to ensure
the safety of all children. 

This event is for first time participants and experienced, for all fitness levels.
Will be held on Sunday 10th December, 21st January and 18th February.

Eumungerie Old Time/New Vogue Dance

Is always on the FIRST and THIRD Saturday of the Month.

Commencing at 8:00pm to 12:00am at the Eumungerie RSL Hall, Railway Street Eumungerie.

Free Pre Natal Yoga Class

Yoga by Jac is holding a free pre natal yoga class every Thursday night for expectant mums. 

Classes are held at Dubbo Early Learning Centre in Blueridge Estate from 6:30 to 7:00pm.

Narromine Shire Community Carols by Candlelight

Come along to  Narromine Shire Community Carols by Candlelight on Saturday 16th December from 6pm to 9pm at St Mary’s Anglican Church 146 Dandaloo St Narromine. 

Wet weather Venue: St Andrew’s Uniting Church 61 Meryula St.

There will be a BBQ and candles will be for sale at a small cost. 

Road to Bethlehem

It's that time of the year, yes, The Road to Bethlehem - a walk-through, outdoor,
theatrical tour that brings to life the true story and meaning of Christmas. 

Step back in time and be immersed in the excitement and drama of the first Christmas.
As your walking tour proceeds, you will encounter loyal shepherds, majestic wise men, beautiful angels and Roman soldiers. 
However, your finest encounter will be with the baby in the final scene. 

Road to Bethlehem is a unique, amazing event.
Let the Shepard's, soldiers, stars and stable take you on a journey you'll never forget. 

Where: Narromine Christian School, 147 Terangion Street.
When: 14th-15th December, 2017
Time: 6pm start

Friday and Saturday nights we will be running 6 sessions. Each session will be 30 minutes.
