Dubbo Farmers Markets | 1st & 3rd Saturday of the Month

On the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month - rain, hail or shine locals and visitors alike get together to enjoy and appreciate the feast of fresher, tastier produce from your local producers. 

Held from 8 am to 12 noon on the lawn of the home of the Dubbo Farmers Market, The Macquarie Lions Park, situated behind the Visitor Information Centre on the corner of Newell Highway and Macquarie Street, Dubbo. 

The markets offer a range of seasonal fresh produce, fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and plants. 

There is also fresh bread, a selection of local pork, beef and lamb, award winning olive oils, preserves, jams, marinates honey, wine, nuts and so much more. 

Enjoy our fresh breakfast and coffee options with family and friends before you start exploring the regional produce, sampling and taking home all the goodies you will need to prepare your own gourmet dishes at home.

Held at Gilgandra Community Plaza in Miller Street. From  9am until 1pm.

Understanding that sometimes a small grant can have a significant impact, Central West Local Land Services are offering grants to community focused groups with a passion for what is important to them.

- Includes improving soil health

- Protecting or preserving Cultural Heritage values and more

Your application may support: 

- Engagement or capacity building workshops

- Purchases to increase capacity of your team e.g.: GPS, field cameras, mapping software etc

Dubbo Cycle Club | Last Track Carnival at No.1 Oval

Saturday 9th February

First race of the Senior Carnival | 4pm to continue under lights into the evening

There are 100 Senior Riders entered. Riders are travelling from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and all locations in between to take on the local Dubbo riders who are included as some of the best Australia has to offer.

Visiting riders who have raced on the world stage include 2015 World Championships rider Scott Law and Canadian National Champion Lizzanne Fox. 

Local riders include Darrell Wheeler, Graeme Peadon, Kurt & Dylan Eather, Simone Grounds, Haylee Fuller and Jason Farr, all current Australian Champions.
