Dubbo Farmers Markets | 1st & 3rd Saturday of the Month

On the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month - rain, hail or shine locals and visitors alike get together to enjoy and appreciate the feast of fresher, tastier produce from your local producers. 

Held from 8 am to 12 noon on the lawn of the home of the Dubbo Farmers Market, The Macquarie Lions Park, situated behind the Visitor Information Centre on the corner of Newell Highway and Macquarie Street, Dubbo. 

The markets offer a range of seasonal fresh produce, fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and plants. 

There is also fresh bread, a selection of local pork, beef and lamb, award winning olive oils, preserves, jams, marinates honey, wine, nuts and so much more. 

Enjoy our fresh breakfast and coffee options with family and friends before you start exploring the regional produce, sampling and taking home all the goodies you will need to prepare your own gourmet dishes at home.

Dubbo Headquarter Rural Fire Brigade - Open Day

Saturday 22nd September 2018 

Held 10am – 3pm at Orana Fire Control Centre, Lot 10 Cooreena Rd, Dubbo, 2830 - Turn down Arthur Butler road as if heading to the airport off the Narromine highway then take your first left and after a few hundred metres it will be the first right.

Attending agencies – Dubbo HQ and Orana Support RFB (RFS), Delroy 284 and Dubbo 280 FRNSW, Dubbo Rescue Squad (VRA), Dubbo City Unit (SES) & Dubbo Base (RFDS)

Each agency will have a display. Dubbo HQ RFB will be hosting a BBQ also with cakes and slices with all proceeds going towards the Drought relief organisation “Buy a Bale”

Fireies For Farmer's - Eumungerie Rural Fire Service

Eumungerie Rural Fire Service is holding a fundraiser called "Fireies for Farmers" Market day with added extras.

29th September from 8:00am

All proceeds going to Drought Stricken Farmers. BBQ, Hot and Cold beverages, pampering session, massages. If you are ready to do a spring clean and would like to sell anything, come along and book a table for $10 and that will be donated to Dubbo CWA along with all proceeds made on the day.

ME/CFS/FMCS Support Group Invite you to

Tyler Grace's Photographic Exhibition at Charles Sturt University Dubbo.

Closing Date | 23rd September

This Photographic Exhibition aims to raise awareness for Myalgic encephalomyelitis /Chronic Fatigue Syndrome / Fibromyalgia Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Sufferers. The exhibition will be a photographic record of his symptoms and how the illness has affected his life. This illness affects brain function, making it difficult for those suffering to do everyday activities.
