Grant's career started long ago at 2TM Tamworth. Grant has called many stations his home over the years, some of which include 6PR Perth, 5AD Adelaide, 4BC Brisbane and Sydney's 2WS, 2DAYFM, 2UE and 2GB.

A highlight for Grant was the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, Grant was the announcer at the main stadium and voice for all other Olympic venues.

Grant has spent some time in television too, he compared TV shows Jukebox Jury and The Wheel Of Fortune.
