CMR (Country Music Radio) is
broadcast from Tamworth's 2TM to all the Super Radio Network stations
including 2DU.
Legendary
Country broadcaster Nick Erby Hosts CMR from 6pm on Saturday and Sunday,
with Brian Howard handling the shift after midnight.
The programming on CMR
highlights country music's latest hits plus interviews and features. The
program will cover all of country's major events, and
the Country Tracks Countdown showcases the top 20 Country hits.
Nick Erby
is country music's leading broadcaster, who has been producing and
hosting country radio and television programs for over 30 years.
For
20 years he hosted his weekly national radio program "Nick Erby's
Country Music Jamboree" (which he retired in 1997) and he's been
involved with three country music television shows. He took over the
reigns of 2TM's Hoedown program when John Minson retired in 1987.
Nick Erby is the recipient of four major industry awards including
the first International Country Music Broadcaster award presented by
the (American) Country Music Association.
Nick regularly
writes for Country Music Capital News (monthly magazine) and
is in demand as master of ceremonies at major Country Music events.
